The Beatitudes: The Process of Purity

We continue in our focused sermon series on the Beatitudes located within the Sermon on the Mount. The sermon is entitled “The Process of Purity”, and the texts for the sermon are Genesis 32 and Matthew 5:1-12.

In the Christian life, we often ask, “how should I live?” In the Beatitudes, we encounter the beginning and foundation of how we should live, which we are calling the Gospelized life. Each Beatitude presents with a different aspect of the Gospelized life. Jesus desires that all of these Beatitudes will take root in our lives, and make us more like Him.
