Christmas Time: All the wrong roads

This week Pastor Josh shares during Advent on “All the wrong roads!” Our passage for the week is Matthew 2:13-15, 19-23.

Advent marks the start of the Christian year. In this special season, we once again await the birth of Jesus, who is the Savior of the world. However, as Christians our waiting is not passive. Instead, this season of waiting is a time of active preparation. In this time, we prepare by examining our own lives, and prayerfully considering how God is calling us to repent and believe in the Good News of the Gospel. In this season, through prayer and preaching, may we all hear a fresh and new word from God, who is calling us to prepare the Way of the Lord, and to make straight His paths in our own lives.
